Cincinnati here comes Travis!

Travis got transferred! He is now going to be working in the office in Cincinnati! He is really exited to have a change of scenery. His new companion is Elder Parker, who he knew in the MTC. His new address is

AND happy birthday to travis too! 20 years old!

Transferred?

Travis did not get transferred.  He is going to be in Crittendon for 6 more weeks and then we will face transfers again.  He will have been in Crittendon for 6 months, so he will probably be transferred then.  They have a few hopeful baptisms, so he is glad that he can stick around for those!  He also told us in his e-mail that he gets to go to a Cincinnati Reds game next monday!  Working hard, or hardly working....  :)

Kentucky is calling!

Mother's Day was really exciting for all of us! It was so fun to hear from Travis! He is doing well, and things are going pretty good with his companion. He says some days he wants to shoot himself because he has been in kentucky for so long, but he is still working hard! Transfer calls come again on Sunday so we will see if he will be put in a new area. There was a lot of talk about Manny Ramirez, the Dodgers in general, and friends back home in California. He said that the weather there is getting warmer and they are still staying optimistic in the work! We are so proud of everything that he is doing!

It Was a Long Winter, But the Sun is on it's Way

Travis survived a long and freezing cold winter.  There was a lot of snow, freezing rain, and just plain old cold days!  Here are some photos and video of the winter there.  

Travis is doing a lot of good, and having a lot of fun while he is at it!
